This white short wheelbase T5 van came into the MAD workshop as a crash damaged standard panel van.
As a special comission for the TV programme ‘Wrecks to Riches’ on Discovery Real Time Channel MAD Workshop undertook a full conversion from workaday delivery van to full on surf bus in record time.
Under the watchful eye of the camera crew we started with installation of OEM factory windows. A colour coded Reimo pop top roof and custom light kit finished off the exterior.
The interior was treated to a custom full width ‘rock ‘n roll’ bed and fully trimmed seat cushions. Safety for all passengers was provided with the installation of factory approved three point intertial real sealbelts in the rear.
A full suspension lowering kit and alloy wheels gave the van the correct ‘stance’ and improved the handling. Colour coded and fully spec’ed MAD Workshop helped Discovery Real Time Channel turn this van into a super weekender surf bus / camper van in record time !
